About us
Speechmade is run by Kreativity Marketing Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number [company number], registered office [registered address]).
What Speechmade does
You answer questions, choose a tone and length, and we write a toast, speech, vows, eulogy or obituary from your answers. You can read the opening for free. If you buy it, you get the full text, two free rewrites, a copy sent to your email address, and access to your page for 30 days. Spoken pieces also come with printable cue cards. After 30 days your answers and page are deleted, so please save or print a copy.
How it is written
Everything is written by AI, using Claude, a model made by Anthropic, guided by your answers. The AI is told to use only the facts you give it, but AI can make mistakes, so please read it carefully and check names, dates and details before you use it. You are responsible for the final words you say or publish. Our privacy policy explains how your answers are shared with Anthropic.
Your answers
Please only include information you are happy to share. You must not use Speechmade to write anything unlawful, abusive or defamatory, or try to overload or misuse the service. We limit the number of free previews each day.
Price, payment and sales tax
The price is shown in US dollars before you pay. Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies, depending on where you live. Payment is taken securely by Stripe, and your receipt is sent by email.
If something goes wrong
Your piece is delivered as soon as you pay. If it doesn't appear, is badly wrong for your answers, or the rewrites don't work, email us within 30 days of paying with the link to your page. We will try to put it right, and if we can't, we will give you a full refund.
Who owns it
Once you have paid, what we wrote for you is yours to use, change, print and share however you like. We won't publish it or use it for anything else. The website itself, including its design, text and examples, belongs to us.
Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for how a speech or obituary is received. To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your state.
Changes and law
We may update Speechmade and these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones on this page when you paid. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, but this doesn't take away any protection you have under the laws of the state where you live.
